St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Historic Preservation – Masonry Foundation Repairs and Repointing
The rear church foundation at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Spotswood, NJ experienced mortar damage from flooding and high moisture levels at the rear of the property. This section of the church, dating to 1896, was repointed and a six foot section of foundation was reconstructed with a footing where it had not existed prior. A section of brick had also been removed at one point and was rebuilt using the original brick.
