St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Historic Preservation – Carpentry Repairs
The water table boards at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Spotswood, NJ were heavily rotted and deteriorated from water and moisture infiltration. In order to rectify the problem and protect the church from further damage, the water table boards were carefully removed and replaced with in-kind pieces. Underneath the boards, the sill of the church was examined for damage and pieces of damaged studs were replaced. The wood was properly primed and sealed to prevent future moisture problems.
